Restoration & Revision
Professional maintenance and overhaul through to complete restoration - 9 workplaces and a first-class equipped workshop form the core of Goodtimer. We are also a training and education company and are involved as a teacher and examination expert for further training to become a Federal Vehicle Restorer FA.
Every overhaul and restoration is discussed with the owner, documented and filed in the vehicle folder with inspection booklet. The Goodtimer restoration team specialises in vehicle mechanics, electrics, carburettor technology and ignition systems, as well as paintwork preparation and interior renovation.
Care & Preservation
For the correct care of a classic car, an annual inspection with oil change and lubrication service and the inspection of the most important safety-relevant components is recommended. Appropriate documentation in the service booklet for classic cars (Goodtimer and IGFS) ensures the maintenance status and the exact setting of the vehicle technology.
The paintwork and interior are exposed to the elements, and the invisible parts of your classic car on the underbody and in the hidden corners of the wheel arches also suffer over the years. Goodtimer specialises in the long-term care of paintwork, equipped with cold steam equipment for cleaning the interior and renovates leather seats. In the conservation chamber, the underbody is chemically cleaned and preserved with hot wax.
Classic Car Home Care
With Oldtimer Home Care, the mechanic comes to you. In bad weather or over long distances, going to a specialist garage is often a hassle. The specialists from Goodtimer will help you get your classic car back into working order.
The two-person team of Oldtimer Home Care looks after small and medium-sized collections of 2 to 30 vehicles, even directly in the owner's garage. Whether for commissioning, winterisation service or preparation for a larger outing; ask for our mobile service – available throughout Switzerland.
